Korean idol group Super Junior’s “Sorry, Sorry” album is the top-selling K-pop album in 2009 in Music One stores in the Philippines, according to Universal Records.

Music One released its Top 25 Bestselling Albums list for 2009 based on album sales in three Music One stores from January to December 2009.

“Sorry, Sorry” landed at No. 10 and is the only K-pop album on the Top 25 list. “The Essential Michael Jackson 3.0” topped the list, followed by “You’re the Inspiration: The Music of David Foster and Friends” (which includes Charice Pempengco), Lady Gaga’s “The Fame,” Jed Madela’s “Songs Rediscovered 2,” and Sabrina’s “I Love Acoustic.”

According to Universal Records, “Sorry, Sorry” debuted at No. 1 in Music One Album Chart just three days after its release in September. It was also No. 1 in Odyssey Records stores in September.

Super Junior holds the distinction of being the first K-pop artist to reach No. 1 in album sales in the Philippines. More, “Sorry, Sorry” is the first K-pop album to reach Gold Record status in the country, having sold 7,500 copies three months after its release in September.

The album’s title track was voted No.1 in the Top 100 singles of the year countdown of Taiwan’s Hit FM radio station. “Sorry, Sorry” garnered close to 250,000 votes to beat Jam Hsiao’s “Princess” and Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face.”

Mini-album “Super Girl” of Super Junior M, a subgroup of Super Junior, also reached No. 1 in the Music One and Odyssey Records stores charts.

hehe this is the secons part of my addiction to super junior…at dahil nga love ko sila…sila na lang din ang laman ng twitter at facebook ko…hahaha

kahit nga dito sa blog ko sila pa din ang gusto kong pinopose eh…kahit saang website pa na may account ako hindi pwedeng mawala ang super junior…I just really love Super Junior…

lagi ko rin silang sini-search kahit saan…sa flickr, sa photobucket, sa google, yahoo etc….

well hindi naman masyadong obvious na love na love ko ang super junior dba….ito ang itsura ng friendster ko sa ngaun…look puro Super Junior ang nasa featured friends ko pati na rin sa mga comments ko….

Sa may comment box ko ang nandun ay si Sungmin…haha..ang saya kaya ng feeling pag nagrereply sila sakin at pag binibigyan ng comment….

Siguro marami magsasabi na peke naman sila eh pero ako naniniwala na sila talaga yun. Marami naman na din akong mga nakitang o nakilalang nagpapanggap lang kaya alam ko na kung sino yung totoo…love ko sila eh kaya pag sinabi nilang sila yun naniniwala ako…

At di lang naman yun eh..naka chat ko na rin sila…the same email add nung mga nasa friendster at eto pa nakita na rin cla sa cam…haha o diba sino pang hindi maniniwala….

Kaya nga wish ko na makita sila pero hindi naman ako makapunta sa Korea at hindi pa naman sila nagpupunta dito sa Philippines…hay sana pumunta na sila dito gusto ko talaga silang makita…

Merry Christmas Super Junior

Looks like SM Entertainment just might lose another star… After the JaeChunSu trio turned their backs against their company in regards to their unfair contract, Hankyung (Hangeng) of Super Junior decided to take their lead and attempt to opt out as well.

According to a related source in China, Hankyung filed a request at the Seoul Central District Court to make his contract with SM Entertainment null and void at noon on the 21st.

Hankyung, who is well-known as the only Chinese member in Super Junior, is popular amongst both the Asian youth and media. With his good reputation and talent, many speculated that the singer would go on to have a very successful solo career as well. However, rumor has it that the contract forbade Hankyung from pursuing a solo career, creating a rift that led to this contract termination request.

The press stated,

“No specific details have yet been released towards this termination request. However, it is likely the reason is because of the unfairness the contract holds in regards to Hankyung’s personal development.”

Currently, Hankyung’s legal representative is remaining silent. However, allkpop will be sure to provide further details of this hot news.

So what do you guys think? Is Super Junior finally reaching its end,downfall  after downfall? Since SM Entertainment has yet to confirm anything, I guess we’ll just have to see.

hay grabe! sino naman ang hindi makakakilala sa 13 guys na ito…well kung hindi mo sila kilala malas mo kasi you’ll miss half of your life…hehe parang OA pero totoo naman…

Actually I am not into K-POP but when I saw this group 2 years ago well I just fell in love with the group…haha parang tanga lang…well totoo naman kasi wala na akong ibang pinagkaabalahan pa kundi sila hehehe…

Now I just want to see them in person and I hope they could visit Philippines…haha..

Adik na talaga ako sa Super Junior…I just love them!!!!
